With Miniso entering the Indian market, we got access to tons of cute Chinese/Japanese stuff at affordable rates. What took me by storm was their beauty products. Not only did they seem promising but also were affordable. Plus, they have 50% off on their cosmetics range every now and then. I too couldn’t resist their offers and purchased White whitening blemish remover cream quite a while back. After using it for more than 3 months, I can finally spill the beans on its efficacy.

Price: Around 700Rs and we get 110g product. It has a shelf life of 3 years. (I had purchased mine during a sale and had gotten 50% discount!)

The packaging is super classy and looks luxe! White whitening blemish remover cream comes in a frosted glass bottle with a pump dispenser. Of course, the bottle is heavy but looks really good and is sturdy. Two pumps are enough for application on face and neck.

Ingredients:

WATER, GLYCERIN, HYDROGENATED POLYISOBUTENE, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, DIMETHICONE, NIACINAMIDE, POLYGLYCERYL-4 ISOSTEARATE, SORBITAN STEARATE, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, PHENOXYETHANOL, ALLANTOIN, METHYLPARABEN, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, ACRYLATES/C10-30 ALKYL ACRYLATE CROSSPOLYMER, AMINOMETHYL PROPANOL, 3-O-ETHYL ASCORBIC ACID, DISODIUM EDTA, DIPOTASSIUM GLYCYRRHIZATE, FRAGRANCE, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, IODOPROPYNYL BUTYLCARBAMATE, ALPHA-ARBUTIN, TRANEXAMIC ACID, ALOE YOHJYU MATSU EKISU(JTN), YEAST EXTRACT, FD&C Yellow No. 5 (CI 19140).

My verdict on White whitening blemish remover cream:

Let’s just ignore the “White” label and carry on with the review part. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much from this bottle which I got just for Rs.350. But, the results were quite impressive. The texture of White whitening blemish remover cream is pretty much lotion like. Hence, it is light on the skin yet provides enough hydration. This can easily be layered with other hydrating products, as I like to do, during summers to avoid super heavy skincare routine. You’ll need to give this a couple minutes to get fully absorbed into the skin before proceeding with the routine. Vitamin C and Niacinamide did help in fading the tan that I had gotten after my Malaysia trip and brought back the glow on my skin. It didn’t cause any breakouts or irritated my skin. The formula is apt for all seasons and can be used by all skin types. (You can add other products with this as per your requirement).

Not sure about the particular blemish remover claim but this is a good light-weight lotion in general. Do give Miniso’s beauty products and let me know which one should I try next!
