Suganda Hyaluronic acid serum

Ingredient list:

Aqua, Panthenol, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Sodium Hyaluronate, Centella Asiatica Extract, Avena sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour (Colloidal Oatmeal), Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexyl glycerin

Hyaluronic acid is a humectant which means it helps in retaining skin’s water content. How? HA can absorb more than 1000 times its weight in water. As a result the skin looks plump and fuller almost instantly. This is the thing with HA that the results are visible almost instantly but at the same time, they are temporary. Our skin has its own reserve of Hyaluronic acid and with age the sources start to deplete causing aging, skin sagging, drying and wrinkles. HA can be used topically to fill that depleted gap and keep the skin hydrated and plump.

Suganda Hyaluronic acid serum

Suganda Hyaluronic acid serum has a thick goopy texture. In my opinion a pump dispenser would’ve been a more suitable packaging for such texture as the dropper is not able to hold product in one go. 3-4 drops are needed for one time use and I think this amount is sufficient. It’s better to not take more and I’ll let you know WHY in some time.

How to use Suganda Hyaluronic acid serum?

Any Hyaluronic acid serum must be applied on damp skin (not soaking wet). Once applied, don’t wait for the serum to get absorbed fully otherwise your skin will start feeling dry and stretchy. While the serum is in the process of absorbing, immediately follow up with a moisturizer or an oil. An oil works the best but even a moisturizer with gel-lotion like consistency will do. If you use a heavy-duty moisturizer like Minimalist one, then it is going to pill (ball up) badly.

When used more, you’ll take more time massaging the serum in order to get absorbed and in that process, skin starts getting dry and feel stretchy. At least, that’s what happened with me.

The steps should look like:

Facewash ~ Toner ~ Suganda Hyaluronic acid serum ~ moisturizer/oil

My verdict on Suganda Hyaluronic acid serum:

I have oily skin which is quite dehydrated at the same time. During winters my skin tends to lean towards being dry. So layering hydrating serums is one thing that can keep my skin both moisturized and hydrated. I enjoyed using Suganda Hyaluronic acid serum during daytime because I use light-weight moisturizers during the day. During the night time I use Minimalist Sepicalm moisurizer and it pills (balls up) badly in conjunction with this. I tend to get stretchy skin a lot especially during colder months and this serum really helped in getting rid of that feeling. This is a good serum at an affordable price, so yes I’d recommend you guys to try (at the least) and see for yourself.

Best suited for: though this serum can be used by anyone, people having dry, dehydrated or mature skin will benefit the most out of it. People having sensitive skin must do a patch test because off-late I’ve come across people (on internet) whose skin reacts to HA.
