Availability: Tvakh website, Vanity Wagon, Tata Cliq
I really wish the brand were available on more ecommerce websites.
The USP of Tvakh Supercharged Daily Treatment Cream is the super impressive ingredient list. *
7 antioxidants ~ Vitamin C, Alpha Arbutin, Vitamin E, Astaxanthin, Bakuchi oil, Vitamin F, Goji Berry Extract – By reducing inflammation, antioxidants allow skin to repair itself and correct visible damage, also stimulate collagen production, which is vital for youthful skin.
5 Brighteners: Hydroxycinnamic acid, Niacinamide, Licorice root, Ectoin, Avocado Butter-an effective blend that reveal clearer, brighter, and smoother skin.
Copper Tripeptide: To repair damage and pigmented skin.
Ceramide 111: a moisture barrier powerhouse, that deeply hydrates and nourishes skin from within.
Tvakh Supercharged Daily Treatment Cream comes in a frosted glass packaging which is pretty heavy. It looks lovely on the shelf but is difficult to travel with. The texture of the moisturizer is runny ~ lotion like and pump packaging is totally apt for it. There’s no added fragrance hence the moisturizer’s mild scent comes from the ingredients itself.
Facewash ~ Toner ~ Serum (optional) ~ Tvakh Supercharged Daily Treatment Cream
This moisturizer can be used both during day and night time. When using during the day, always follow up with a sunscreen. While using at night, a few drops of facial oil can be mixed in order to get more nourishment.
The formula is free from fragrance, mineral oil, paraben, silicon. Also the product is vegan and the brand is cruelty free.
I am super impressed by this moisturizer. It not only nourishes the skin but also helps with pigmentation, makes it soft and supple, hydrated, nourished and strengthens the moisture barrier. While using this moisturizer, I observed that my skin looked more radiant and had a healthy glow. There were no dry patches, no dullness and lesser acne. 2-3 pumps are enough for one time use and I’ve now emptied half of the quantity after 2 months (used 3-4 times a week). The moisturizer takes a minute or two to skin in completely but once it does, the skin doesn’t feel greasy/shiny/heavy. I highly recommend this moisturizer to anyone and everyone.
Results:
Suitable for: literally everyone!
Not suitable for: those having fungal acne. Also if you are expecting your moisturizer to have oil controlling properties, this is not the one for you.
Have displayed the texture in my Insta reel. To watch, click here.

]]>Summers (in India) call for light-weight moisturizers irrespective of the skin-type. Last year I was on a hunt for a light weight moisturizer to layer with hydrating serums when Tvakh came up with their Marine line. I instantly picked up few products to try out. An year later, I am

I was surprised to see Sunflower seed oil in the list because this moisturizer is claimed to be oil-free but in actual it contains an oil! If you are prone to fungal acne then skip this moisturizer because of the oil content.

I love the texture of this moisturizer ~ a hybrid between cream and gel. It feels pretty light-weight but provides enough nourishment sans the greasiness. I’ve used this moisturizer in my day routine only as it contains UV filter Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate. It can be layered easily over hydrating serums and under makeup. This didn’t pill or made my skin oily. One can easily customize the amount of nourishment by altering the quantity. It does have mild fragrance which I found pretty soothing (not overpowering at all). This moisturizer didn’t break me out or caused any irritation. I enjoyed using this moisturizer and will repurchase some time in future.
Suitable for: normal, combination and oily skin types. People having very dry skin will not find it nourishing enough.
Not suitable for: dry, very dry skin types. Also people suffering from fungal acne should avoid using this moisturizer.

]]>If there is a moisturizer that I’ve been using for more than a year and a half then, you know, it has to be good! I easily get bored with products, but there are a few exceptions and Purity Ultra light moisturizer is one of them. I had purchased this

]]>Purity Ultra light moisturizer retails for USD25 and we get 141ml product. The price might look a bit steep but then we are getting almost 3 times the regular size. (normally moisturizers come in standard size packaging of 50g)
Availability: Sorry folks, the brand is not available in India. You can check out with Instagram resellers but I am not sure.
People outside India can check this out on the brand’s website here.
The texture is very lightweight and somewhat lotion-like. It gets absorbed easily on the skin and leaves a satin finish imparting long-lasting hydration. Purity Ultra light moisturizer can be used both during daytime and night. Hence if you are travelling and need to carry just one moisturizer, then this should be it!
aqua/water/eau, cyclopentasiloxane, bis-peg-18 methyl ether dimethyl silane, glycerin, butylene glycol, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, glyceryl stearate, peg-100 stearate, cetearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, limnanthes alba (meadowfoam) seed oil, phenoxyethanol, stearic acid, tocopheryl acetate, salvia hispanica seed oil, panthenol, parfum/fragrance, acrylates/c10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, linalool, bht, ascorbyl glucoside, disodium edta, sodium hydroxide, peg-8, tocopherol, sodium hyaluronate, lecithin, alcohol denat., geraniol, polyglyceryl-3 diisostearate, pantolactone, ascorbyl palmitate, citronellol, camellia sinensis leaf extract, coffea arabica (coffee) seed extract, pongamia pinnata seed extract, benzyl benzoate, limonene, ascorbic acid, angelica archangelica root extract, citrus aurantium amara (bitter orange) peel extract, maltodextrin, citric acid, magnesium aluminum silicate, xanthan gum, caprylyl glycol, sclerotium gum, sorbic acid, fd&c yellow no. 5 (ci 19140), fd&c yellow no. 6 (ci 15985).
The list might look overwhelming with such long list and that’s okay. There are many moisturizing ingredients, humectants, anti-oxidants (Vitamin E derivatives), various extracts & Vitamin C derivatives. In addition to these, please note, it also contains added fragrance, few potential sensitizers and alcohol denat.
I really hope you understand this colour coded system. For eg. moisturizing ingredients are marked in green that means all ingredients that are marked in green in the list are moisturizing in nature.
Purity Ultra light moisturizer has a noticeable but pleasant fragrance. It doesn’t linger but you’ll get a clear whiff of it while applying. I use 2 pumps (sometimes 2 and a half) for one-time use. It has been almost a year and a half and I’ve been using this moisturizer on and off* and some of it is still left which will last me 2 more weeks.
*On and off because I have to try other moisturizers in between (life of a beauty blogger) and sometimes I get bored, so I switch to another product (life of a person with an erratic mind, lol).
If Purity Ultra light moisturizer had to be described in just one word, it would’ve been supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, meaning wonderful. I am really fond of this moisturizer and keep reaching out to it every now and then. This has accompanied me during all my outings last year. It moisturizes well without being greasy and imparts hydration that lasts all day. During cold weather, I made use out of it by applying slightly more. Despite having alcohol denat, it doesn’t feel drying or imparts any tightness upon application. I have oily acne-prone skin which is dehydrated and find it’s consistency to be super apt for my skin type. Never it has clogged my pores or broken me out. In fact, I’ve used it on inflamed skin with active acne and it hasn’t given any kind of sensitivity. I highly recommend this moisturizer and wish the brand launches in India soon!
Meant for ~ all skin types except those having dry/very dry skin.
Not meant for ~ if you can’t tolerate fragrance in your products or are allergic to any of the mentioned sensitizers above.

]]>
Price: It retails for Rs.1500 and we get 15ml product. The product needs to be finished within 12 months after opening the bottle.
Availability: It’s Skin products are available only online. I got mine from Nykaa.
Fact: An Emulsion is a mixture of two or more liquids that are usually not soluble in one another. They are more suitable for oily/sensitive skin as they light in weight, water soluble and don’t irritate the skin.
Ingredients: Water, Butylene Glycol, Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Glyereth-26, Erythritol, Alcohol Denat, PEG-20 Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, Behenyl Alcohol, Camellia Japonica Flower Extract, Cetyl Alcohol, Sea Water, Ethyl Hexanediol, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Metha Herba (Peppermint) Callus Culture Extract, Panthenol, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Tocopheryl Acetate, Glyceryl Caprylate, Sodium Polyacrylate, Ethylhexyl Stearate, Carbomer, Cirsium Setidens Leaf Extract, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf Extract, Xantham Gum, BHT, Melaleuca Altenifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Alisma Orientale Tuber Extract, Atractyloides Japonica Rhizome Extract, Cinnamomum Cassia Bark Extract, Disodium EDTA, Polyporus Umbellatus (Mushroom) Extract, Poria Cocos Extract, Salicylic Acid, Triclosan, Trideceth-6, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid
It’s Skin Clinical Solution AC Emulsion comes in a frosted pastel green coloured glass bottle. I absolutely adore the heavy glass packaging. Though not travel-friendly, the bottle is definitely going to look classy on your shelves. The bottle is huge and is going to last 3-4 months easily when used daily.
The texture of it is milky white and quite runny. It’s Skin Clinical Solution AC Emulsion faintly smells of tea tree. The emulsion is very light and gets absorbed into the skin easily. There is a little shine left post application which fades into a lovely hydrated skin soon after.
Boy! the emulsion is amazing. It is a legit moisturizer for my skin (type-dehydrated & oily) when paired with a hydrating sunscreen. My acne prone skin loves this as it provides a soothing effect and has anti-bacterial properties at the same time. It also has helped in reducing the redness on my face. My skin is a lot more clear and the texture has improved noticeably. I have been using this during daytime but it can be included in PM routine as well. It layers beautifully under sunscreen & makeup. My dehydrated skin loves this as it has amazing hydrating and moderate moisturizing properties. I haven’t faced any breakouts or congested skin while using this emulsion. Though it claims to control sebum production, it didn’t do much for me in that area. Definitely repurchasing!
