Belif Aqua bomb jelly cleanser | Review

I always dreamt of Belif coming to India as I was always intrigued by their products. They mainly target skin nourishment and hydration while keeping the formulations functional. And luckily, I was sent their bunch of products to try. After having used their Belif Aqua bomb jelly cleanser for 4-5 weeks now, I am ready to reveal my thoughts and share why this is an amazing cleanser for every skin type.

Belif Aqua bomb jelly cleanser

Price: Rs.2390 for 160ml. I know this is a hefty price tag for a cleanser but then Belif is a luxury brand. Also, hardly a pea sized amount is needed for one time use. Therefore, this huge tube will last long.

The cleanser comes in a tube packaging which is very convenient and travel friendly (they have changed the packaging as of now but the product is still the same). The texture of Belif Aqua bomb jelly cleanser is gel like and has their signature scent which is mild and refreshing. You’ll need a pea sized amount for one time use. It lathers moderately and cleanses well.

Belif Aqua bomb jelly cleanser

Belif Aqua bomb jelly cleanser is formulated with a bunch of extracts, essential oils, humectants like Glycerin & skin conditioning ingredients.

The star ingredients are:

Lady’s Mantle (Alchemilla Vulgaris Leaf Extract): Antioxidant-rich herb that also has pore minimizing benefits; helps remove free radicals from skin and aids skin turn-around.

Napiers Aqua formula: moisturizes and cares for the skin by supplying abundant levels of hydration and nutrient-filled minerals and antioxidants for increased elasticity and smooth, supple skin.

Steps:

A cleanser should always be the first step of any skincare routine (day or night). Also, don’t rely on just a cleanser to remove all your makeup. A cleanser is meant to remove dirt, grime, sebum, pollution, sunscreen and mild makeup and Belif Aqua bomb jelly cleanser efficiently removes all of these. But if you expect this cleanser to remove your waterproof mascara and smudge-proof lipstick, then you are going to be disappointed.

My verdict on Belif Aqua bomb jelly cleanser:

I thoroughly enjoyed using this cleanser both during the morning and night time. It doesn’t make my skin dry post wash but cleanses it pretty well. It doesn’t sting the eyes (I don’t open my eyes mid wash anyway) or irritate the skin. I’ve used this cleanser when having active acne and this didn’t aggravate them at all. My skin felt clean, soft and supple after using this cleanser. If you have the capacity to shell out 2k for a cleanser, then I insist, you get this one.

Suitable for ~ all skin types be it dry, normal, oily or combination. Those having acne prone skin can also use this cleanser comfortably.

Not suitable for ~ those having fungal acne or very sensitive skin. Please proceed with caution as it contains bunch of essential oils.

Always do a patch test before incorporating any new skincare product in your routine.”
