Yoof Skincare | Affordable Indian brand | Is it worth?

Came across a new brand last year, as usual I got overly enthusiastic and ordered all products to try. It took a long time for me to finish them because my routine wasn’t consistent (thanks to some PR products and few other products that I purchased myself). But finally, I can pen down my thoughts and share with you guys about my experience. Continue reading to find out my review on Yoof skincare products.

Yoof skincare

The brand has 3 products so far: a sunscreen, a moisturizer and a face wash. I really love the name Yoof which is nothing but an informal spelling of youth. So I guess the brand is aiming towards the younger generation (or is founded by a younger generation catering for young generation). Can be either way, however they haven’t mentioned anywhere and I am making absolute wild guesses.

The brand claims to be cruelty free and their products are free from Parabens, Sulfates & Silicones. They are vegan friendly and have USDA organic logo. You can check out the brand here.

  1. Yoof Skincare Wild rose face wash

Price: Rs. Rs.649 for 50ml. You’ll get this for as low as Rs.149 on discount which is mostly there.

The facewash has a distinct rose fragrance and has a pinkish gel texture. It cleanses well, doesn’t overly dry out my skin and doesn’t sting the eyes. The packaging is travel friendly. I’ve used it both during day and night time and never did it irritate my skin or caused breakouts.

Available on Amazon too. Click here.

2) Yoof Skincare Rapid Hydration Face moisturizer

Price: Rs.835 for 50ml. You’ll get this for as low as Rs.249 on discount.

This is a lotion like moisturizer that has a blend of 5 oils (3 of which are oatmeal, carrot seed and jojoba). It claims to lighten scars & prevent dryness. I cannot say about lightening the scars but it does provide intense nourishment. You can use just a couple drops for light nourishment and slather a good amount for more nourishment. This cream will suit all skin types from dry to oily. I have oily-dehydrated acne-prone skin and I didn’t face any skin irritation.

3) Yoof Skincare Super cream SPF 50++

Price: Rs. 745 for 50ml. You’ll get this for as low as Rs. 199 on discount.

Now this is a moisturizer and a sunscreen both. The consistency is runny lotion like and sometimes it also spills from the tube when you suddenly open the cap. This can easily be layered over a moisturizer when used as a sunscreen. It is totally fine to skip moisturizer too as this is quite nourishing on its own. This doesn’t leave a white cast and doesn’t feel heavy. Oily skinned people can use this as a standalone moisturizer while dry skinned people will love layering this on top of their moisturizer.

Available on Amazon too. Click here.

My verdict on Yoof Skincare:

I love how the products are priced pretty decently (when on discount) and cater to almost all skin types. The packaging is pretty colourful and looks appealing. I enjoyed using their products and none of them caused any irritation or breakouts. I am unable to share the complete ingredient list as I’ve thrown the outer cardboard packaging and sadly the list isn’t mentioned on the site either. Also one more thing, the products are heavily scented. Though I didn’t face any issue with the fragrance, but if they were brought down to half of their concentration, the smell should be soothing to the senses. I’d suggest you try the products as they are extremely affordable and worth the money.
