Deyga Rose and Mulethi face pack

Ingredients:

Native rose grains, Mulethi, Oatmeal, skin cherishing essential oils.

Rose powder has anti-inflammatory properties, helps in soothing, acts as a natural cleanser and is also known to reduce signs of aging.

Mulethi (Licorice) is pretty much widely known for skin brightening properties. It gives a cooling sensation when applied to the skin. Mulethi also helps in fading blemishes and combating skin dullness by providing glow. It also helps in soothing inflamed skin.

Oatmeal is beneficial for all skin types. It is an amazing antioxidant and has anti-inflammatory properties. In addition to providing amazing exfoliation, it also helps in treating dry skin and is considered good for acne-prone skin as well.

I wish the brand discloses essential oil/s used right on the packaging so that people who avoid specific EOs can make their choice right then and there.

Mind it! Essential oils are not bad when used within their dermal limits. It’s just that they are so potent, some people (less than 15% of the world’s population) might get a reaction or some sensitization because of them. So don’t refrain from using products containing EOs as they have amazing properties in addition to added natural fragrance.

The texture is a fine powder with slight graininess to it. The face pack mostly smells of mulethi and earthy. It also looks earthy with the colour resembling that of sand. I sniff the jar every time before using the face pack. I like the natural fragrance of it.

How to use Deyga Rose and Mulethi face pack?

Wash your face with a cleanser and then apply toner.

For dry skin ~ add milk to the face pack

For other skin types ~ add water/rose water to the face pack

Make a nice paste of medium consistency and apply all over the face barring the eye socket area and lips. The paste is going to be grainy and not smooth. I have inserted pictures of how the pack looks wet and post drying. The mask doesn’t get super drying like clay masks but after turning dry you’ll find some fall out if you flex your facial muscles or touch your face. It takes around 15 minutes for the mask to dry out completely.

Once dried, start massaging with wet hands gently by adding little water simultaneously. The oatmeal provides mild exfoliation without being abrasive. There’s no need to use a facewash post this face mask as there is no residue left. Apply a moisturizer after patting the face dry.

My verdict on Deyga Rose and Mulethi face pack:

A face pack with such amazing ingredients, such amazing skin feel and almost instant results, needless to mention I am definitely enjoying it a lot. It not only provides nice mild physical exfoliation but also gives almost an instant brightening effect. My skin looks nourished and glowy (the exact opposite of dull). The mask hasn’t broken me out or gave me sensitization of any sorts. It also helped in drying out any active acne with regular use. I’ve made my husband use it and he shares the same feedback. I gave some to my friend and she liked it too. If you are planning to purchase just one product from the brand Deyga, I highly recommend you get this face pack without any second thoughts.

With all the amazing Pros, there’s one con ~ there’s no added preservative. Because it is a powder-based formula (and has no water), ideally it doesn’t need a preservative. But think of the numerous times when you can accidentally add moisture to it ~ might be while taking out the mask with a spoon or dipping ever so slightly wet fingers or not keeping the jar tightly shut during humid days. So be cautious while using the face pack and keep it tightly shut when storing.
