The Skin House Vital Bright Serum | Review | Kbeauty

Well, this post was supposed to go up in January! But I was going through some phase and didn’t feel like posting then. After that, Coronavirus took over and I was not able to post due to lack of time. A full-time job at the office and then house chores (maid has been given paid leaves) ain’t no joke! So today, on account of Gudi Padwa, I am sitting down to make final edits and share with you my thoughts on The Skin House Vital Bright Serum.

Edit: The intro was written way back! Please ignore.

The Skin House Vital Bright Serum

The serum was sent to me by the brand along with a few more products. I included this in my routine immediately because I had a terrible tan post my Goa trip.

You can get The Skin House Vital Bright Serum from YesStyle for around Rs.1600.

The serum comes in a gradient glass bottle which looks very elegant but is very heavy at the same time. The texture is very thick and viscous and if you ask me, a squeezable tube with a narrow nozzle would’ve been the perfect packaging for such texture. The dropper isn’t able to pick up the serum in one go, you’ll have to try multiple times.

There are small packets of shimmer particles which burst upon rubbing and impart a subtle glow. No, the shimmer isn’t evident on the face, it just looks glowy. Also, the serum is very very hydrating. It will not replace your moisturizer but can definitely be layered easily in a skincare routine.

How to use?

After washing your face thoroughly with a facewash, pat it dry. Then apply the serum and allow it to be absorbed for a minute or two and then follow up with a moisturizer. This can be used both day and night time. Always use a sunscreen during daytime.

Will be suitable for ~ all skin types, especially those looking for brightening effect

Will not be suitable for ~ people with fungal acne as it has hydrogenated castor oil

My verdict on The Skin House Vital Bright Serum:

I had started using it for a purpose, to help reduce my tan as the serum claims to provide brightening effect. And it does live up to its claims. My skin felt brighter after a couple of weeks and the result was more noticeable after 3 weeks. I have oily but dehydrated skin and it really helped in making it plump and glowy at the same time without adding any greasiness or heaviness. I really enjoyed using this serum as a result of which I finished it right in the first week of February. It lasted me for a month and a half and I used it almost every day in the morning.

The only con I see is its availability in the Indian market. Though it can be ordered from a bunch of international websites, there will always be chances of custom charges.
