Hello! everyone. Welcome to my series of 31DaysOfNudeLips wherein I shall be sharing, reviewing and swatching 31 different shades of Nude lipsticks. I am (and will be forever) an ardent lover of nude shades. They are so apt for everyday wear, be it college or office. By now, you already know me! (so no more justifications). October is my birthday month and I want to celebrate it by sharing a nude lip shade every single day. Also, I shall not be mentioning those lipsticks which I’ve already reviewed on my blog. Hoping you enjoy this series as much as I do, let’s begin in no particular order. The lipstick that I’ve chosen for Day 30 is Nykaa Matteilicious Lip Crayon in the shade Jade Rose.

Price: Rs.650 for 2.8gm product.

Packaging: Nykaa Matteilicious Lip Crayon comes in a matte black crayon form the base of which is colour coded. The packaging resembles to Sugar lip crayons a lot. Every lip crayon comes with a free sharpener which is a plus point.

Texture & pigmentation: Nykaa Matteilicious Lip Crayon is very creamy to apply and glides on the lips like a dream. A single swipe is needed to cover the pigmented lips entirely. The finish obtained is velvet matte.

The shade Jade Rose resembles shade 483 from Chambor Extreme Wear Liquid lipstick. They are almost identical but in different formulations. Jade rose is a gorgeous brick brown which will be a universally flattering shade for Indian skin tones. It has a chemical rubber smell to it.

My verdict on Nykaa Matteilicious Lip Crayon:

I am really fond of the shade and the formula. I know, Nykaa Matteilicious Lip Crayon was in my No Buy list but (to make it clear), this is gifted. The finish obtained is velvet matte which stays on for good 4-5 hours. It is not transfer-proof but becomes transfer-resistant with the passage of time. The formula stays comfortable throughout the stay and doesn’t settle into lip lines. The lipstick fades evenly at the end of the day. This shade is going to be a beautiful nude of medium skin tones like mine! If you are looking for a comfortable velvet matte finish and decent staying power then give Nykaa Matteilicious Lip Crayon a try.
