Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipcolor | Day 15 | 31DaysOfNude | #swatchOber

Hello! everyone. Welcome to my series of 31DaysOfNudeLips wherein I shall be sharing, reviewing and swatching 31 different shades of Nude lipsticks. I am (and will be forever) an ardent lover of nude shades. They are so apt for everyday wear, be it college or office. By now, you already know me! (so no more justifications). October is my birthday month and I want to celebrate it by sharing a nude lip shade every single day. Also, I shall not be mentioning those lipsticks which I’ve already reviewed on my blog. Hoping you enjoy this series as much as I do, let’s begin in no particular order. The lipstick that I’ve chosen for Day 15 is Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipcolor in the shade Chestnut.

Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipcolor

Price: Around Rs. 300. I don’t remember the exact price as this is an old purchase & also couldn’t locate this shade online anymore. I’ve no idea whether it is discontinued or renamed. I had purchased this from a Maybelline counter.

Packaging: Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipcolor comes in a simple light brown bullet case. Nothing fancy.

Texture & pigmentation: In apropos to the name, Moisture extreme, it is a truly moisturizing lipstick. You don’t even need to apply a lip balm beneath. The finish obtained is glossy and the coverage is medium. I has a faint smell of something I can’t recall.

The shade Chestnut is a lovely glossy mauve which will suit fair to medium skintones.

My verdict on Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipcolor:

When I am tired of mattes, I use such moisturizing lipsticks. This is so creamy and comfortable, and it stays for around 3 hours after which it fades away on its own. Also, it transfers crazily, hence you have to take a little extra care. As mentioned, this is an old purchase and I’ve used it almost entirely, just a little is left (the visible bullet in the first picture is what remains). I’ll be finishing it off in a couple of months. If you are looking for a comfortable, glossy, creamy-moisturizing formula and don’t mind transfers and staying power then this is a good option.
