A little about the brand:<\/h3>\n
The Formula RX is an Indian brand founded by Dr. Satobhisha who is having a solid background in Chemistry. The brand focuses on scientific formulations and have not made packaging their priority. Their formulations are very minimalist and they are quite transparent about their ingredients as well. Also they don’t promote misleading facts like preservative-free, chemical free, all organic, etc etc. All these reasons got me gravitated and highly intrigued by the brand. I being a budding formulator myself have more respect in science rather than all these baseless marketing gimmicks.<\/p>\n
Price:<\/strong> Rs.499 for 30ml solution & Rs.699 for 60ml. The pricing is very decent for the quality, I must say.<\/p>\n You can purchase the serum from the brand website here<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n The Formula RX pha + niacinamide +glycinated azelaic acid is also called Daily Glow solution<\/em><\/strong>. This is actually an exfoliator as it contains acids in the formula. The consistency is just like water, you’d legit feel you are applying some water on your face. There’s no fragrance or any kind of sliminess to it.<\/p>\n Water, propanediol, gluconolactone, niacinamide, glycerin, potassium azeloyl diglycinate, panthenol, allantoin, xanthan gum, phenoxyethanol, disodium edta, ethylhexylglycerin.<\/span><\/p>\n The beauty of this serum is that it targets all three stages of pigmentation cycle.. But HOW?<\/p>\n The very beginning<\/em><\/strong> ~ controlling of melanin production (taken care by glycinated azelaic acid<\/em>)<\/p>\n The middle stage<\/em><\/strong> ~ prevention of melanin transfer to keratinocytes ~ skin pigmentation is very much linked to this (taken care by Niacinamide<\/em>)<\/p>\n The end stage<\/em><\/strong> ~ exfoliation of dead pigmented skin cells (taken care by Pha<\/em>)<\/p>\n Potassium azeloyl diglycinate <\/em><\/strong><\/span>is a more stable derivative of azelaic acid which helps in skin brightening, regulates sebum production and aids glowing skin.<\/p>\n Niacinamide<\/em><\/strong> is beneficial for oily acne prone skin as it helps treat mild acne, regulates sebum production and reduces the appearance of large pores. The skin barrier strengthens and it also helps in fading pigmentation (in turn aids brightening<\/em>).<\/p>\n Gluconolactone<\/em><\/strong> (i.e. Pha<\/em>) is a gentler alternative to AHAs which helps in mild exfoliation and improve skin texture.<\/p>\n Allantoin<\/em><\/strong> calms, heals and soothes the skin.<\/p>\n Panthenol<\/em><\/strong> (Vitamin B5<\/em>) is a humectant and hence retains skin moisture level keeping it soft and plump.<\/p>\n Facewash ~ toner ~ the Formula RX pha + niacinamide +glycinated azelaic acid ~ any other serum\/essence if required~ moisturizer ~ sunscreen (only during daytime<\/em>)<\/p>\n Avoid using the serum around the eye area.<\/p>\n I’ve used this serum 3-4 times a week and mostly in my AM routine (i.e. in the morning<\/em>). Initially I hardly noticed anything but after 4 weeks or so, I witnessed a visible difference. I didn’t face any irritation or stinging effect while using this serum. This didn’t gave me breakouts either.<\/p>\n Results:<\/strong><\/p>\n Suitable for:<\/strong> almost all skin types, even those having fungal acne.
