“A foundation that delivers dewy finish is not meant for oily skinned people.” This is our usual perception. Similar was mine when I got my hands on The Loreal True Match foundation a couple of months back. But now this has become one of my favourites (and I am saying this

Price: Rs.1050 for 30ml. But you can always grab it for around Rs.750 during sales.
Availability: Loreal products are easily available online as well as in stores. I got mine from Nykaa. To get your’s, click here.
There are 14 shades released & I got the shade 7.D/7.W. This shade is a tad bit dark for me but I am quite comfortable with it, especially during summers when my skin turns a bit darker.
I am so glad that it comes with a pump which is perfect for a foundation having medium consistency. Loreal True Match foundation blends in like a dream and instantly becomes skin-like. It provides a dewy finish (not overly dewy) and imparts a healthy glow.
Loreal True Match foundation provides a medium coverage which is so apt for daily wear. It doesn’t feel heavy neither does it cling to dry patches. For me, it is a boon as I have dehydrated, though oily, skin. I also use it under my eyes and it doesn’t crease when set with a finely milled loose powder.
I was very much dubious about the foundation upon seeing it for the first time because it looks almost glittery. You can literally see specks of golden shimmer through the glass bottle. And no oily skinned person would feel comfortable applying a shimmery product on the entire face. But these shimmer doesn’t clog or enhance the pores, though they become visible when you closely examine your face.
My oily-dehydrated skin loves this foundation. I love its finish so much that I end up using it the most for my office wear. It lasts the entire day without making my face super oily, though I blot every 3 hours or so. I only do blotting, I don’t set it again with a powder during the entire day. My skin has a constant glow and my pores don’t look enlarged. Loreal True Match foundation doesn’t slip off (unlike Nykaa skingenius foundation) upon touching or mild rubbing which is the best thing I love about it. Also, it doesn’t oxidize on my skin, though it does adapt to your skin tone and becomes almost skin-like.
I am in love with Loreal True Match foundation and I’d recommend you pick this up during a sale. The price of Rs.1050 will not be considered affordable from everyone’s POV but then this is definitely worth a try. Irrespective of your skin type, this foundation is going to suit you. Also, it neither clogged my pores nor irritated my skin.
What’s your favourite foundation this summer? Let me know!
Until next time, stay beautiful & keep smiling!
