Vegreen skincare | kbeauty | Review
Kbeauty is extremely popular because of their new and innovative ingredients which deliver results. I have always been curious about kbeauty products and never miss a chance to try out new brands. Vegreen was such brand that the more I looked into, the more intrigued I got because of their amazing products. I have been trying out Vegreen skincare routine for almost a month now and ready to share my thoughts on them.
A little about the brand ~ Vegreen is a beauty brand from South Korea. The name Vegreen comes from Vegan & Green. The brand story and their efforts towards sustainability are quite amazing and a must read. Their products cater towards moisturization and can be used by everyone irrespective of their skintype. Vegreen Rice Facial Wash Cleanser
The cleanser comes in 150ml tube packaging. It is huge and only a pea sized amount is needed for one time use. This cleanser is a second step cleanser; it needs to be used after removing makeup/sunscreen with an oil based cleanser first.
Ingredients:
Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract, Water, Coco-Betaine, Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Arginine, Sodium Chloride, Betaine, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Hydroxyacetophenone, Sodium Methyl Isethionate, Lauric Acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Centella Asiatica Extract, Sodium Laurate, Allantoin, Pentylene Glycol, Pyrus Communis (Pear) Fruit Extract, Disodium EDTA, Decyl Glucoside, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Prunus Persica (Peach) Fruit Extract, Hedera Helix (Ivy) Leaf/Stem Extract, Lactobacillus/Rice Ferment, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Water, Pimpinella Anisum (Anise) Fruit Extract, Vanilla Planifolia Fruit Extract, Cucumis Melo (Melon) Seed Extract, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Polyglyceryl-10 Stearate, Ceramide NP
The cleanser has so many hydrating and soothing ingredients. It creates good amount of lather and cleanses pretty well without stripping off skin’s moisture level. My skin doesn’t feel dry post wash. I have been using it both during morning and night time and loving it to bits. It hasn’t irritated my acne or sensitized my skin at all.
Vegreen Nature Mucin Serum
It is made of mucin from wild yam extract which has anti-inflammatory & antimicrobial properties. It helps in moisturizing, soothing, maintain skin elasticity and fights aging. There’s Niacinamide which helps with pigmentation and various peptides which help reduce fine lines.
Ingredients:
Dioscorea Villosa (Wild Yam) Root Extract (63%), Water, Panthenol, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Niacinamide, 1,2-Hexanediol, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Arginine, Xanthan Gum, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 , Copper Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, Centella Asiatica Leaf Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ceramide NP, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Ethylhexylglycerin
It has gel like viscous texture but isn’t slimy like snail mucin serums. Despite being viscous, the serum gets absorbed into the skin very quickly. It is very easy to layer this serum with other skincare products. Doesn’t feel heavy or sticky.
I’ve noticed my neck lines have faded a tad bit, very mildly but I do feel a difference. I’ll update with before after pictures in the long run.
Vegreen 730 Daily Moisture Cream
You might be wondering why 730? A year has 365 days and you use a moisturizer 2 times a day. 365*2 equals 730 and hence the name!
This moisturizer has a lotion like consistency. It provides hydration and nourishment to the skin without feeling heavy or greasy. The moisturizer can be used throughout the year both day and night time.
Ingredients:
Water, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Squalane, Glyceryl Stearate Polyglyceryl-2 Stearate, 1,2-hexanediol, Stearyl Alcohol, Carbomer, Arginine, Caprylyl Glycol
Made of just 11 ingredients, this moisturizer is going to suit all skintypes including sensitive. The ingredients cater towards strengthening skin barrier and preventing moisture loss. Using vegetable squalane extracted from sugar cane, this product has high purity and low viscosity, so it has excellent skin penetration. It is a perfect moisturizer for all seasons, can be used with active products as well and doesn’t irritate acne. My skin doesn’t feel greasy after applying this moisturizer.
Skin update:
I had been suffering from severe acne due to hormonal imbalance and postpartum stress because of which I was on antibiotics and a strict medical skincare routine for a long time. Thankfully, the switch from medical skincare routine to normal skincare routine was very smooth because of these products. All the 3 products are quite calming, soothing and non-irritating in nature. They work towards strengthening skin barrier and revitalizing the skin. I feel my skin has become healthier, brighter and has got back the lustre. It’s too early to say but I also noticed mild difference in my neck lines like I previously mentioned.
Despite using the products so generously, I haven’t even reached the half mark (except the moisturizer.. it has a major dent). I am excited that I’ll be able to use them for a longer period of time and experience even better results. I’ll definitely keep you posted about the results in the long run.
Concluding my thoughts. I hope you liked the post and if you did, do consider subscribing to my blog. Show some love by liking, sharing and commenting your views/thoughts. Until next time, stay beautiful & keep smiling!
