Dr. Sheth’s Date and Quinoa eye cream | Review
This post has had to wait for so long, blame procrastination! I am finally getting rid of my laziness and planning a schedule to share all my pending posts. Starting with Dr. Sheth’s Date and Quinoa eye cream. I have already emptied the tub and it is being repurposed somewhere else. (the small jar is too cute to let go off)
Price: Rs.899 for 14gm. The price looks hefty in comparison with the quantity but trust me, this small jar is going to last you months because you need the tiniest amount to apply.

The texture of the eye cream looks similar to a gel cream but it imparts moisturization like a heavy duty moisturizer. My texture picture is deceiving as it is not depicting the correct consistency (the remains of the cream had become balm like by the time I took pictures, which was months after finishing the jar). Just imagine a fluff cream, okay?
It has a lovely fragrance which is synthetic (read perfume) and not a blend of essential oils. I’ve had a little discussion with Dr. Aneesh and he mentioned that the fragrance has no to minimal allergens. He also stated that the amount of perfume added is very very very tiny. I am not at all against perfumes in my skincare, in fact a well perfumed product feels like a treat to my senses.
My verdict on Dr. Sheth’s Date and Quinoa eye cream:
My jar lasted for good 3-4 months. I had incorporated the eye cream mainly in my night time routine, albeit sometimes I did use it during daytime as well. Because of its nourishing nature, you need the tiniest amount for application. Remember the rule less is more applies on eye creams as well. After having used the eye cream consistently, I can definitely vouch that my under eye area looked firm, nourished and less dry. I don’t have prominent dark circles so can’t comment on that part but this eye cream definitely nourishes the skin and makes it firm. During the initial days I could hardly see any difference but that’s the catch with eye creams (or most skincare for that matter), it takes time.
Suitable for: anyone and everyone. Just go and get yourself one.
Probable con: could be the price but it is worth it. Trust me!

Interesting blog.It would be great if you can provide more details about it. Thank you..
This review came on the right time..I am planning for a new eye cream..as of now I have used Aroma magic, loreal hydraboost and fabindia eye cream/gel. I don’t have any serious issue as such. Just due to fatigue and lack of sleep many times I felt need of a normal regular eye cream. But now as I am in mid 30s I was planning to have a better one..I will definitely try this one…thanks for the review
