Jeva Pure Rose Water Facial Toner | Review
I have been pretty much open about my love for both natural and synthetic skincare ingredients. Not all synthetic ingredients are bad and not all-natural ingredients are good/safe. But when companies sell rose water with all sorts of fillers and synthetics and then claim it to be ‘natural’ or ‘organic’, it makes me cringe. That’s the reason I stopped looking for pure rose water in the market. But when I read the description of Jeva Pure Rose Water Facial Toner, my hopes were revived.
Price: Rs.150 for 50ml.
You can purchase from Nykaa: https://nyk0.page.link/9hPSteYp8HxUjg4Q9 (as per confirmation from the brand, they are in the process of making fresh batches of the rose water which’ll be available soon. At the moment this product is out of stock almost everywhere.)
The bottle is very tiny and perfect to travel with. And because the quantity is less, the product will get over soon. So there will be fewer chances of it being contaminated. I’d suggest you keep the bottle tightly shut, try not opening the spray mechanism, keep the bottle in the fridge and finish as soon as you can.
Rose water has phenylethyl alcohol in adequate quantity which makes it self preserving for long (not forever though).
The spray mechanism is very fine. It sprays very fine droplets so it is best when sprayed directly over face keeping a distance of 1ft. I store my bottle in the fridge so that I can benefit not only with the rose water but also enjoy the cooling effect.
Ingredients: DM water, rose petals and aloevera extract.
My verdict on Jeva Pure Rose Water Facial Toner:
As per my discussion with Jeva team, they themselves manufacture their rose hydrosols and their rose water is a primary product of steam distillation. It means it is supposed to be more therapeutic and more potent. I’ve used it as it is (as a toner) and also mixed it with various powder face masks/packs. It has worked well in all ways. I will repurchase as it is pretty inexpensive and travel-friendly. If you are stuck in finding a toner, I’d highly suggest you get Jeva Pure Rose Water Facial Toner. You cannot go wrong with a rose water toner, never!

Well, I still prefer natural ingredients.
Considered the price and that it’s the primary product of steam distillation it’s a good product to try thought I don’t find any huge impact of rose water in skincare. But yes I do love the soothing nature of it especially when it’s kept in refrigerator it’s a nice mist and toner to try.
Sorry a lot of auto correct happened in my comment🤣
That’s exactly what I love, it really calms and soothes the skin. I don’t expect anything apart from that. 😅
