I am often asked suggestions for the best body lotion for winters and the first product that comes to my mind is Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula. I have been using this for more than a year and can’t get over it. Read on find out why I love this so freaking much.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula

Price: There are 2 variants available ~

  • 250ml for Rs.425
  • 400ml for Rs.545

You can get your’s from Nykaa, click here: https://nyk0.page.link/U9g21zjZeNrJrwSo6

Always look out for offers. Last year I got the offer of “buy one get one free”! This is my second bottle and I am on the verge of finishing it too.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula

The 250ml version comes in plastic packaging and it becomes difficult to get the product out especially when it is about to hit bottom owing to the thick texture. Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula moisturizing lotion is very thick and creamish yellow in colour. It has a strong fragrance of raw cocoa which, somehow, feels soothing to my senses. I also smell some coffee in there (it might be just me!).

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula

Ingredients:

Water, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Extract, Glyceryl Stearate, Petrolatum, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut Oil), Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetyl Alcohol, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Elaeis Guinneensis (Palm) Oil, Dimethicone, Fragrance, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate), Hydroxyethylcellulose, PEG-8 Stearate, Stearalkonium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Methylisothiazolinone, Cetearyl Alcohol, Yellow #5 (CI 19140), Orange #4( CI 15510)

It is amazing to find Cocoa extract right on the second place! It also contains cocoa seed butter, coconut oil, palm oil and Vitamin E. All these ingredients are meant to provide intense moisturization, prevent further dryness and keep skin soft. Cocoa butter and palm oil also help in fading stretch marks. The formula is paraben-free.

My verdict on Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula:

I love this body lotion because of its smell, its moisturizing properties and its texture. It provides intense moisturization without feeling very greasy or heavy. My body skin looks nourished and there’s no flakiness at all, even during wintertime. I apply it on my entire body post showering and it remains moisturized throughout the day. I also use it as a hand cream and my cuticles are no more dry. There are very few body lotions to which I can commit but this one has my lifetime commitment. Also, I have very sensitive body skin which reacts to almost every other body lotion. But Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula hasn’t irritated my skin at all. It is truly meant for sensitive skin as well.

I highly recommend Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula to everyone during winters and dry body skinned people like me throughout the year. It doesn’t feel heavy at all.
