Suganda BHA serum | Review
We all dread acne because not only they look bad but also further damage our skin (scarring & pigmentation). So I am always on the lookout for some effective products that claim to cure them. When I came across Suganda BHA serum, I picked it up with no second thoughts and I am so glad I did! Now that I’ve almost finished the bottle, I am ready to share my thoughts.
Price: Suganda BHA serum retails for Rs.699 for 20ml. I know this is slightly on the expensive side and it will get over soon if you apply it every day. What I did is I applied it only when I felt my skin was feeling congested or got acne and not every day. This way I could get the optimum use and this tiny little bottle lasted me around 3 months.
Availability: Suganda products are available on Amazon and their website.

Ingredients:
Aqua, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Green Tea Extract, Gotu Kola Extract, Trimethylglycine, Salicylic Acid 2%, Sodium Lactate Xanthan Gum, Phenoxylethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Hydroxide
Glycerin: an excellent humectant that helps in retaining skin’s moisture.
Green tea extract: a great anti-oxidant
Gotukola extract aka Centella Asiatica: has skin healing and calming properties.
Salicylic acid (BHA): very helpful in curing acne.
BHA stands for beta hydroxy acid which is an oil soluble acid. Hence it reaches to the pore level and unclogs them (provides exfoliation on a deeper level). Hence it is very much beneficial for acne prone skin.
Suganda BHA serum comes with a dropper mechanism which is very apt for its super liquidy texture. It looks like a thinner version of a serum which almost feels like water on the skin. The colour is golden orange and has a pungent smell to it. This can be layered easily under a moisturizer without making the skin oily or feeling heavy.
My verdict on Suganda BHA serum:
Not everyone’s skin responds to BHA but mine does, hence I saw a visible difference in a week. My skin had got super congested and had quite big acne a while back and thankfully, I purchased Suganda BHA serum at the right time. It helped my skin congestion lessen and reduce acne. It does sting a little but the sensation is very mild as compared to other products having a similar concentration of BHA.
My skin automatically gets more oily when congested which is visible in the before pics as well. But after a week, not only did the excessive oil production was controlled but the bigger pimples had dried up too. My face became clear in almost 15-20 days. I highly recommend Suganda BHA serum to all those suffering from frequent acne. Let’s appreciate and promote Indian brands like Suganda, especially when their products are so effective!
