“Suggest me some good affordable facewash” is the recommendation I am asked most of the times and the first product that comes to my mind is Simple Refreshing Facial wash. No wonder Simple products are so raved about. Today I am sharing my thoughts on Simple Refreshing Facial wash after having used it for more than 3-4 months and finishing the tube.

It comes in a tube packaging which is very convenient. The cap shuts tight and there is no chance of spilling.

Simple Refreshing Facial wash has a slippery gel texture. You’ll have to be careful as a little movement of the hands might result in slipping of the product into the skin. I’ll suggest you rub the facial wash into the hands first and then apply it on face to avoid the previously stated issue. It doesn’t have an obvious scent.

Ingredients: With just 11 ingredients, Simple Refreshing Facial wash is pretty minimalist. It has the goodness of Vitamin B5 (Panthenol) & Vitamin E (Tocopheryl acetate).

Simple Refreshing Facial wash is free of soap, artificial perfume, colour, alcohol, harsh chemicals, parabens, animal-derived ingredients. The formula is very minimalist and simple and hence it doesn’t irritate my skin at all. In fact, it has humectant which only helps in retaining the moisture level of the skin.

My verdict on Simple Refreshing Facial wash:

What is a facial wash supposed to do? Cleanse properly and doesn’t strip off the skin of its moisture. That’s exactly what Simple Refreshing Facial wash does. It doesn’t lather much but cleanses the skin well. My skin doesn’t feel dry post wash. This doesn’t even irritate my eyes. Even during active acne I didn’t feel any kind of itching or irritation. I use this as a second step in my double cleansing routine, the first step being a cleansing oil/balm, and it works perfectly fine. It is so mild that it can be used as a morning cleanser too. I am all praises for this amazing facial wash. This is one of the rare products which will suit all skin types and wherein I couldn’t find a single con!
