What is Salve? Salve is anything which is used to heal the skin, be it a cream or ointment or balm. Hence When I came across Rose & Co. Rose Petal Salve, I decided to try it despite being fully satisfied with my current lip balm. Continue reading to know my experience with it.

How do I apply? I use Rose & Co Rose Petal Salve as a lip balm specifically: a thin layer during the day and a thick fat layer at night.

Rose & Co. Rose Petal Salve retails for Rs.525 and we get 20g product. This a huge tub and I’ve been using it for more than 3 months and hardly emptied a quarter of it.

Rose & Co. Rose Petal Salve comes in a beautiful pink coloured tin tub. I don’t mind tub packaging at all, in fact, I find it to be more convenient. The only drawback is it doesn’t have screw lid. You’ll directly need to pull the cap to open, which becomes more difficult with wet or moisturized hands.

My verdict on Rose & Co. Rose Petal Salve:

First of all, the scent! It has a mild scent of roses which is so refreshing. The texture is thick-balmy which feels slightly silicony-cum-waxy. The salve is very nourishing and has kept my lips soft-supple during winter time too. I haven’t used it anywhere else but it can be used on cuticles, elbows, any dry patch over the body and it surely will heal the dryness away. I am really happy with my purchase and will insist you try the product once. This tub will last you 6-8 months minimum (if not more). This has become my second most favourite lip balm ever!
