Hello! everyone. Welcome to my series of 31DaysOfNudeLips wherein I shall be sharing, reviewing and swatching 31 different shades of Nude lipsticks. I am (and will be forever) an ardent lover of nude shades. They are so apt for everyday wear, be it college or office. By now, you already know me! (so no more justifications). October is my birthday month and I want to celebrate it by sharing a nude lip shade every single day. Also, I shall not be mentioning those lipsticks which I’ve already reviewed on my blog. Hoping you enjoy this series as much as I do, let’s begin in no particular order. The lipstick that I’ve chosen for Day 18 is Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color in the shade Devotion.

Price: Rs.1195 for 5.9ml.

Availability: Amazon, Nykaa, Jabong & Revlon counters.

Packaging: Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color comes in a frosty plastic packaging which reflects the lip shade. The wand is long with a flat top applicator.

Texture & pigmentation: Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color has a thick texture which applies easily on the lips. A couple of swipes renders high (almost full) coverage.

The shade Devotion is a light mauve shade with faint hint of peach which will suit fair to medium skin tones. It smells like a khatta-meetha sherbat.

My verdict on Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color:

The biggest catch with Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color is that they are not Matte (Jee haan!). The formula is very creamy, almost like a highly pigmented gloss. You can see the shine on the lips hours after the application. This lipstick never dries and hence is very moisturizing. The staying power is around 3 hours and reapplication is very convenient as well. If you are looking for a comfortable formula which is not drying, stays for around 3 hours and very pigmented then this must be a good option to try. Also, this does transfer even on the slightest touch of the lips.
