Hello! everyone. Welcome to my series of 31DaysOfNudeLips wherein I shall be sharing, reviewing and swatching 31 different shades of Nude lipsticks. I am (and will be forever) an ardent lover of nude shades. They are so apt for everyday wear, be it college or office. By now, you already know me! (so no more justifications). October is my birthday month and I want to celebrate it by sharing a nude lip shade every single day. Also, I shall not be mentioning those lipsticks which I’ve already reviewed on my blog. Hoping you enjoy this series as much as I do, let’s begin in no particular order. The lipstick that I’ve chosen for Day 11 is Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick in the shade Rosewood.

Price: USD18 for 3.5gm product. I got mine for Rs. 1210 during the time when ABH had 50% off on their lipsticks.

Availability: Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick has not yet arrived to India. You can get their products online via websites like Cultbeauty & Beautybay or by Instagram resellers. I got mine from the Instagram page @beautytales.in.

Packaging:  Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick has a luxe packaging. Even the outer box  in which it came had a smooth velvety feel. The bullet comes in golden base with black plastic cap. The ABH logo makes it look all the more luxe.

Texture & Pigmentation: Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick has a matte formula and it does apply like one. The lipstick does tug the lips a bit while applying but the application is easy and smooth. You will get full coverage in a couple of swipes and the finish obtained in full on matte.  The formula is not transfer-proof but it does become transfer-resistant with time as it tends to dry and set.

Rosewood is a super gorgeous brown with hints of red and pink which will flatter each & every skin tone. On their website it is described as Cherrywood. Strangely, this lipstick has no fragrance, I tried putting my nose right on the bullet but sniffed nothing.

My verdict on Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick:

I was introduced to this shade by Antariksha (blogger & youtuber) and I am so glad! I absolutely adore the shade and the formula. Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick feels so comfortable throughout the day. It lasts easily for 6 plus hours easily without feeling dry. If you are accustomed to creamy lipsticks and decide to go for this then you will feel it drying but if you are accustomed to matte formulas and have used liquid lipsticks then this is a very comfortable formula in comparison. Though a universal shade, Rosewood will flatter medium skin tones the best. If you are looking for a comfortable matte formula which lasts pretty much the entire day and are willing to splurge a little on a luxe product then this range is for you.
