PAC High Definition Powder | Banana | Review
I am highly gravitated towards loose powders because I have oily-dehydrated skin. I need powder to keep the oil at bay but at the same time I don’t want the powder to accentuate my dry skin or patches. Hence loose powders are kind of my thing. I was managing good with Makeup Revolution Banana powder when I learnt that PAC has too come out with their HD powder. So without a second thought, I went ahead and purchased PAC High Definition Powder in the variant Banana. Let’s talk about its efficacy now.
PAC High Definition Powder retails for Rs.745 and we get 5gm product. PAC products are available online (Nykaa, Amazon.in & PAC website) and in PAC stores which are present in selected cities across India.
Variants: There are 2 variants available: transparent & Banana.
PAC High Definition Powder has a classy packaging. There is a transparent tub with black screw cap. There is a mesh which protects the powder within & avoids spillage. And the cap is such that it seals the mesh portion when the lid is closed which further prevents spilling of the powder inside the tub. (hope you got my point here)
The texture of PAC High Definition Powder is very very very finely milled. This is by far the most finely milled powder I’ve ever come across! It is even finer than Innisfree No Sebum Mineral powder.
With a powder this finely milled you can’t expect any kind of coverage. It is not even meant for that nor does it claim to provide any. High Definition powders are used for setting the base without looking cakey. And this is exactly what PAC High Definition Powder does! Also, irrespective of your skintone, this will suit everyone as it doesn’t impart much of colour. (can’t really comment its efficacy on people with very deep skintones)
It beautifully sets my foundations (I’ve tried almost all in my collection) without making my face cakey. Though I have dehydrated skin, it doesn’t cling to the dry patches. I love the finish of this powder a lot. It keeps my base intact pretty much the entire day with some blotting in between. However I still prefer my Innisfree No Sebum Mineral powder for setting/baking my under eyes.
My verdict on PAC High Definition Powder:
Like I already mentioned, I am smitten by this powder. Right from the packaging to the mesh thing to it’s efficacy, everything has seemed to impress me. But there is one major drawback, there is a lot of kick back while using this powder. Also, you might cough or sneeze at least once while applying this because it goes all over the place. As you can see clearly from the picture below, half of the product goes away into the air in an attempt to pick it up via brush. I have tried using a beauty blender and it works much better, application wise.
If you are looking for a loose powder which provides coverage and expect extreme mattifying properties then this is not for you. But if you want something to set your foundation without adding any extra layer, no flashback and some oil control then you should definitely give PAC High Definition Powder a try! I see myself repurchasing this.
Concluding my thoughts here. I hope you liked my review and if you did, do consider subscribing to my blog. Show some love by liking, sharing and commenting your views/thoughts. Until next time, stay beautiful & keep smiling!

Agreed! This saves a lot of powder from vanishing into the air..
I learnt 1 more thing from you today : that finely milled powders don’t provide coverage
Thanks for your ever informative posts <3
I am so glad! Thank you.
The packaging of this product looks very similar to the Tarte Airbrush powder foundation but it seems to be the exact opposite in the way both the products work.
I haven’t tried many products from PAC cosmetics, I think I really must try some.
