We all are tired of liquid lipsticks which are drying as hell in the name of long-lasting. At least, I am! I look forward to a comfortable formula and don’t mind reapplying the lipstick once during the course of the day. Hence I was attracted to the Loreal Infallible Matte gloss the very first time I saw it on Nykaa! Read on to know why I am so impressed with my purchase.

Loreal Infallible Matte gloss retails for 799Rs for 6.3ml product. There are 10 shades in the range out of which I picked Nude Allude. (you know my love for nude shades)

It comes in a transparent tube with matte black cap. The applicator has teardrop shape and provides precision lining.

It has a weird fragrance which I am not really fond of. Luckily it doesn’t linger for long. The texture is thick for liquid and runny for a mousse. The consistency is perfect and provides full coverage in just one stroke. IT doesn’t dry out completely (maybe that’s why it is called a gloss) hence feels comfortable the entire day. Loreal Infallible Matte gloss does transfer but it doesn’t smudge or bleed on its own. The staying power is decent for around 3-4 hours. Also after having something greasy, this easily gets removed.

My verdict on Loreal Infallible Matte gloss:

I have finally found my perfect liquid lipstick. I am so in love with the formula that I end up using this every other day. The shade Nude Allude is so beautiful, it is going to suit all skintones. It is a mixture of brown, pink and peach and is perfect for everyday use. The only thing you’ll have to keep in mind is to avoid scratching or rubbing your lips because that will cause smearing of this lipstick.

Who’ll love this? Those who like comfortable formula and don’t mind the staying power or transferability.
Who should stay away? Those looking for a long-lasting formula and don’t mind dry matte finish.
