Loreal Paris Infallible Le Rouge Lipstick | Forever Frappe | Colour Series

So, this is going to be the last addition to the Colour Series. It’s none other than the Loreal Paris Infallible Le Rouge Lipstick. I’ve been wanting to try out this range for so long. Now that I already have, let’s dive into the review and decode all the points which make it so awesome!

Price: Rs.1150 for 2.5g of product. It has a shelf life of 36 months.

Packaging: It comes in a plastic twist up tube with colour coded cap. I love colour coded packaging because it makes it easier to identify the shades on the go. And look at that engraved L’Oreal Paris on the lipstick!!

Fragrance: It has a mild sweet scent, vanilla like, more inclined towards fennel seeds (aka saunf). Please forgive me if you don’t find this comparison good enough. This was the best I could possibly come out with.

Texture and pigmentation: It has an amazing texture! It applies so smooth like butter and has a sheen initially. But after some time, it dries down to creamy matte finish. This doesn’t dry the lips and feels very comfortable. It is not entirely transfer-proof, hence a little care has to be taken. Also, it is highly pigmented. One swipe is enough to cover any kind of pigmented lips.

The verdict for L’Oreal Paris Infallible Le Rouge Lipstick:

I am in love with the texture and the shade. It is a lovely slightly warm toned brown which looks very beautiful. The best thing is though it turns matte, it doesn’t dry out lips or settle in the lines accentuating them. It sits comfortably whole day without feeling heavy.

One thing that I experienced is that this lipstick doesn’t come off from inner lips, unlike other long wear lipsticks. Any lipstick I wear, be it matte or liquid lipstick, it always tend to come off from inner lips which looks very uneven and unpleasant. But this lipstick doesn’t do that with me!

All in all, I love this range. Though a little pricier but it is definitely worth the money. If I were to take one nudish-brown with me, I would pick this one for sure! Which is your favourite lipstick these days? Do let me know!
