I am into a “Lipstick phase” recently. These days I am so obsessed with these that I’ve bought more than 10 lipsticks in less than a month. I feel crazy and fascinated at the same time. Today, I am going to talk about one more addition in the colour series, which is NYX soft matte lip cream. I know these are not new but I got my hands on them recently and hence the excitement.😬

Coming to the product:

Price: Rs600 for 8ml of product.

Packaging: These come in a regular tube packaging with a doe foot applicator. The tube is colour coded with the lipstick shade which makes it super easy to identify.

Shade and texture: I got the shade Amsterdam which is an amazing red colour. The formula is velvety which glides on super easily on the lips. The colour payoff is good enough to cover pigmented lips and gives an even finish. It is easy to apply and doesn’t dry out the lips. (Dark skinned beauties should test the shade before buying directly.)

Staying power: As the name suggests, these are matte but not drying matte. Its lightweight formula feels comfortable throughout the day. The colour stays for 4-5 hours easily. It survives meals when a little care is taken. It starts fading after 4-5 hours without looking patchy.  Also, these are not entirely transfer-proof.💋

The verdict: I am in absolute love with the shade, texture and the feel of this lipstick. I can wear it all day without feeling uncomfortable. This doesn’t sit into the lip lines which is a plus point for me. I love its fragrance which is sweet-vanilla like. Though there are dupes for this in the market, these have an amazing feeling. I’d like to try out more shades from this range. I’m still wondering why didn’t I try NYX lipsticks ever? This was my first buy from this brand and I am so glad about my purchase.😘
