Nivea MEN After Shave Balm as a Primer. #HowToUse
Hello! World. I know I am blogging after a long time. Life has a lot in store for me it seems. But now that everything has been sorted out, I am all set to jump into the business. So today, as the title depicts, I shall be discussing about Nivea MEN after shave balm as a primer and above all, in what manner should one use it.
Coming to the product:
The after shave balm comes for INR 235 with a shelf life of 30 months. It has a typical “manly” fragrance because in actual it is supposed to be a MEN’s product! The entire youtube community has been raving about how awesome this after shave balm fares as a primer.
Frankly speaking, I was completely disappointed when I used it for the first couple of days because firstly, it didn’t work as a primer at all & secondly, it didn’t hold my makeup or control oil on my face. But I was not disheartened and went on in doing some trial and error to make this product work for me, because everyone but me was all praises about this after shave balm.
So, on the third day I finally came up with a way to apply it after which I saw amazing results! Let me explain it you:
- Give sometime to your moisturizer and sunscreen to get soaked into the skin.
- Then take a little (lesser than a pea sized) amount and apply it all over your face.
- Leave it for a minute or two (not more than that) and immediately apply your foundation/bb/cc cream.
This way, your makeup will stay intact for the entire day and will also control oil on your face. After all, it comes at dirt cheap price and delivers the job equivalent to a quality primer. It is alcohol-free and doesn’t irritate my super sensitive skin at all! Let me know in what way you’ve been using this after shave balm and how is it faring?
P.S. I have super oily skin these days & this works quite well!
