Hello World! These days I am literally stopping myself from splurging on makeup products. I have this habbit of buying whatever I see on the counter. So, I have combined patience management and splurging management. Now I try to buy only those products that are completely essential. Based upon my new management techniques, I bought some stuff during my recent visit to Phoenix mall, Pune. 

I’ll be listing them down below in no particular order. Also I shall be mentioning the price and the amount of product you get. I cannot review them right now because this is the first time I’ve bought these. I’ll review once I use them for a minimum of 2 weeks. So, let’s take a look at the list.

1. Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Matte Gel

This sunblock caught my attention because of the words “matte gel” and “oil free”. It has an SPF of 50 with PA+++. Indian summers need nothing less than an SPF 30, so this seemed a safer bet. Also, sun protection is a MUST.

Price: INR395 (I got at a discounted price of INR 325) for 100gm

2. Beauty Formulas Eyes Makeup Remover

I was running out of my makeup remover and was in search of a new product this time. So while hovering around the New U counter, I came accross Beauty Formulas range. Frankly speaking I had never heard about the brand before. But I went ahead and purchased this because the the consistency didnot feel oily and felt like water instead (good for my oily skin). Hence bought.

Price: INR 225 for 200ml

3. Maybelline Velvet Matte by Coloursensational

I went to the Maybelline counter to buy a mascara, but couldn’t resist myself from buying this pretty bright coralish pink shade. The shade number is Mat 4.

Price: INR475 for 5ml

5. Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express Mascara

The variant that I got is washable. I usually don’t opt for washproof mascaras. Until now, I had been using the Hypercurl mascara but now wanted to try a different one so bought this.

Price: INR400 for 7ml

6. Miss Claire eyeshadow

This eyeshadow I bought from a store at Ground Floor, the name of which I am unable to recall. I was in search of a highlighter and this shade seemed perfect for the purpose. It has right amount of pigment and glitter in it. The shade I got is 0853. I even have put up the swatch picture and you can see for yourself!

Price: INR85 (At few places in Ahmedabad, shops sell these for as high as 190Rs, so beware)

7. MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation

As I’ve started the MAC Series, I will be purchasing a Mac product every month for reviewing purpose. So this time I got my hands on this foundation. In this scorching heat, it’s better to apply less layers of makeup on your face because it feels comfortable that way.

Price: INR2290 for 15gm
