Who doesn’t need a flawless skin? Not everyone is gifted with a spotless face. A little darkness around eyes and nose-chin area is quite common, especially amongst we Indians. Anyway, we manage to get rid of these temporarily by our foundation routine. But it would be better if we were able to make them disappear forever. I had heard many good reviews about this cream. Everyone seemed to be raving about its good results. So I HAD to buy it. Fabindia indeed has some amazing products on their shelves.

I bought it from  Nykaa from a sale but this particluar product wasn’t in the sale. It comes in a white tub with a lot of product inside. It is definitely going to last ages for me. I’ve been using this for a month now and I’ve seen the results. So I think I am ready to point down them to you.

Coming to the product:

Price: INR 390 with a shelf life of 3 years.

Ingredients: It contains many complex compounds as stated on the information tape. But the ones that are woth a mention are:

Kojic acid: It is an excellent skin lightening agent.It is an effective, safer alternative to hydroquinone which serves the same purpose.(1)

Arbutin: It is a molecule extracted from the bearberry plant that prevents the formation of melanin-again a skin lightening agent. (2)

Vitamin E: It is an antioxidant that protects and repairs your skin. (3)

Texture: The consistency of this cream is quite heavy. You need to apply a tiny amount if you an oily skinned beauty as it will only add shine to your face if applied excessively. It took me 2 applications to figure out the right amount for myself. Once applied, it feels light. You can easily apply it as a night cream because that way it will get more time to work wonders for your skin.

Application: I have been using this for a month now. I must say it does work. Though, in the morning I get up with a shiny face, but I think nothing in this whole wide world can stop it. It has made my skin tone even, to some extent. My acne blemishes have reduced to quite an extent. Also, the darkness around my nose-chin area has significantly reduced. Though, I think patience is needed when it comes to getting results. But I don’t mind, I’m not going to quit until I finish the entire tub (which is going to take a long time).

The verdict: It delivers what it says. It helpd in reducing darkspots and blemishes on your face. Oily skinned beauties might find it a bit heavy but applying the right (little) amount shall do the trick. Religiously apply it for good amount of time and you shall definitely see the results. P.S. I also apply ice cubes on my face daily in my CTM routine. I mentioned this because I personally feel it has also added to the results.
