Glamaroma Tea Tree Skin refining cream

Glamaroma Tea Tree Skin refining cream comes in a pump packaging. It is more efficient as the product gets no chance to come in contact with the air and the chances of contamination decreases. You’ll need 2 pumps for one time use.The bottle will last you approx. 2 months when used daily.

The texture is a thick lotion which is light weight yet extremely nourishing at the same time. If you have extremely oily skin and live in a humid climate, you might feel the cream slightly heavy and it can cause more sweating. For all other skin types, this should be good throughout the year.

Ingredients:

It includes ingredients like Tea tree extract and Salicylic acid helps in treating the acne. Tea tree extract has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties which helps in calming skin redness & swelling while salicylic acid is a type of BHA that works at pore level and helps in unclogging them.

There’s also olive oil which (almost) mimics our skin sebum, helps in nourishing the skin and has anti-oxidant properties which gives protection from skin damage. Though it has comedogenic rating of 2, it shouldn’t be a problem at lesser concentrations. Also, it is high in oleic acid which keeps the skin moisture intact.

We also have Jojoba oil which is excellent for dry skin, keeps the skin calm and helps easing eczema and almond oil which again is great for dry skin, helps in cell turnover and reduces the appearance of acne. Carrot seed oil has anti-aging properties.

We have extracts like Ashwagandha which has anti-oxidant properties and licorice (mulethi) which provides skin brightening effects.

My verdict on Glamaroma Tea Tree Skin refining cream:

I have used the cream day in and out for almost a month and a half and as per my experience, it works great. It helped in treating my acne and acne marks in addition to nourishing the skin. I thoroughly enjoyed the cream when the weather was less humid, during humid days I felt it was making me sweat a little more. But that doesn’t bother me much. If you feel the cream is a bit heavy, I’d suggest using it as a spot treatment and that would solve the purpose. The cream totally justifies the price and you won’t regret purchasing it. I am planning to repurchase this as soon as I am done with my current moisturizers.

All in all, Glamaroma Tea Tree Skin refining cream is good for ~

  • all skin types (people with very oily skin might find it slightly heavy during hot and humid days)
  • those looking for an effective cream for treating acne
  • for treating acne marks and brightening effect

You shouldn’t be using Glamaroma Tea Tree Skin refining cream if ~

  • you have fungal acne issues
  • your skin reacts to essential oils & fragrance

Always do a patch test before applying a new product all over your face.
