Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip | Day 21 | 31DaysOfNude | #swatchOber

Hello! everyone. Welcome to my series of 31DaysOfNudeLips wherein I shall be sharing, reviewing and swatching 31 different shades of Nude lipsticks. I am (and will be forever) an ardent lover of nude shades. They are so apt for everyday wear, be it college or office. By now, you already know me! (so no more justifications). October is my birthday month and I want to celebrate it by sharing a nude lip shade every single day. Also, I shall not be mentioning those lipsticks which I’ve already reviewed on my blog. Hoping you enjoy this series as much as I do, let’s begin in no particular order. The lipstick that I’ve chosen for Day 21 is Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip in the shade Frick N’ Frack.

Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip

Price: USD6.50 for 3.2g product.

Availability: Colourpop products are available on Amazon & Flipkart but I cannot comment about their authenticity. Also, they are overpriced at the same time. Hence I suggest you to either get directly from their website Colourpop.com or trusted Instagram seller.

Packaging: It comes in a generic colourpop packaging~plastic tube which reflects the lipstick shade. The wand is long with a regular flat top applicator whose bristles go in all directions (as seen in the picture above).

Texture & Pigmented: Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip has a liquid like consistency is very creamy to apply. It is intensely pigmented and renders full coverage in just one swipe. The lipstick does not dry immediately, it takes some time to set.

The shade Frick N’ Frack is a beautiful Terracotta with hints of rose. It will suit majority of skintones and has a chemical fragrance.

My verdict on Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip:

I am on the verge of emptying the tube! I love this shade and the formula so much that I’ve literally used this lipstick day in and out for my office wear. The lipstick takes a while to set and even after drying it feels very comfortable and keeps the lips moisturized. The staying power is 5-6 hours easily and it does transfer slightly. But for the formula and staying power, I love this range. I want to try more shades, only if the brand were easily accessible to Indian market. If you are looking for a comfortable matte formula having long staying power, then definitely give Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip a try!
