MyGlamm Perfect Curves | Day 20 | 31DaysOfNude | #swatchOber

Hello! everyone. Welcome to my series of 31DaysOfNudeLips wherein I shall be sharing, reviewing and swatching 31 different shades of Nude lipsticks. I am (and will be forever) an ardent lover of nude shades. They are so apt for everyday wear, be it college or office. By now, you already know me! (so no more justifications). October is my birthday month and I want to celebrate it by sharing a nude lip shade every single day. Also, I shall not be mentioning those lipsticks which I’ve already reviewed on my blog. Hoping you enjoy this series as much as I do, let’s begin in no particular order. The lipstick that I’ve chosen for Day 20 is MyGlamm Perfect Curves 2 in 1 Matte Lipstick & Liner in the shade Debutante.

Packaging: I am a sucker for MyGlamm products. They are minimalist and yet so classy. MyGlamm Perfect Curves comes in a retractable white case with a golden base. There is no colour coding of any sorts to distinguish the shade from the stash.

Texture & pigmentation: I wouldn’t call it the creamist lip crayon ever as you’ll need a couple of swipes to bring out the pigmentation and evenness. It does tug and pull the lips (slightly) while applying. You definitely need moisturized lips or else this is not going to work well. It does cover pigmented lips and colour payoff is better with a couple or more swatches.

The shade Debutante is a brick pink which will flatter majority skintones. It smells sweet.

My verdict on MyGlamm Perfect Curves:

I really love the shade Debutante. It is perfect for everyday office wear as it renders a hint of colour on the face without going overboard. The formula is a bit waxy (less waxy than Lakme Masaba lips which didn’t work out for me) but workable. It provides a semi matte finish and feels comfortable for initial hours of application. After around 3 hours, it starts to feel dry on the lips and pills slightly on the inner side. I smudge the lipstick with my fingers to even out the pilling and it then becomes wearable for another 2-3 hours. If you are looking for a semi matte formula with decent staying power in a crayon form then this is a great option to try.
