Hello! everyone. Welcome to my series of 31DaysOfNudeLips wherein I shall be sharing, reviewing and swatching 31 different shades of Nude lipsticks. I am (and will be forever) an ardent lover of nude shades. They are so apt for everyday wear, be it college or office. By now, you already know me! (so no more justifications). October is my birthday month and I want to celebrate it by sharing a nude lip shade every single day. Also, I shall not be mentioning those lipsticks which I’ve already reviewed on my blog. Hoping you enjoy this series as much as I do, let’s begin in no particular order. The lipstick that I’ve chosen for Day 9 is Bobbi Brown Lip Color in the shade Roseberry.
Price: Rs.2300 for 3.4gm
Availability: Online at Nykaa and at Bobbi Brown stores in selected cities.
Packaging: The packaging is basic but luxurious. The rich golden belt looks stunning with a shiny black case. But if you have more than one lipstick from the same range, then its difficult to distinguish the shades.
Texture & Pigmentation: Bobbi Brown Lip Color has a creamy formula which glides on ever so smoothly. Trust me, you won’t even need a lip balm beneath. It provides a satin finish as opposed to semi matte what the brand claims. There is a sheen to it, mind it, not glitter. This shade provides full coverage in just a couple of swipes.
Roseberry is a beautiful mauve shade which will suit each and every skintone and smells like yummy candies.
My verdict on Bobbi Brown Lip Color:
Boy! I had never even planned to buy Bobbi Brown products because they were expensive. But before I could realize, I already had a bunch of their stuff! This is one of their classic lipstick which is really raved about. From packaging to shade to the feel, everything feels luxurious about it. The formula is so creamy and comfortable, you would want to wear it everyday (but wouldn’t because it’s expensive!). This shade stays for 3-4 hours with ease, the staying power elongates if you take some care. Though transfer-proof, the lipstick doesn’t budge on its own or bleed and doesn’t settle into fine lines at all. If you are into creamy finishes and don’t mind transferable formula then definitely try this range and this shade in particular.
