Hello! everyone. Welcome to my series of 31DaysOfNudeLips wherein I shall be sharing, reviewing and swatching 31 different shades of Nude lipsticks. I am (and will be forever) an ardent lover of nude shades. They are so apt for everyday wear, be it college or office. By now, you already know me! (so no more justifications). October is my birthday month and I want to celebrate it by sharing a nude lip shade every single day. Also, I shall not be mentioning those lipsticks which I’ve already reviewed on my blog. Hoping you enjoy this series as much as I do, let’s begin in no particular order. The lipstick that I’ve chosen for Day 8 is Faces Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon in the shade Peach Me.
Price: Rs.799 for 2.8gm product.
Packaging: Faces Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon comes in a crayon like packaging (obviously!) which needs to be sharpened. It comes with a sharpener of its own. The crayon is colour coded hence you can distinguish your shade from the rest.
Texture and pigmentation: It has a creamy formula which glides on easily. You will get full coverage with just one swipe as it is very pigmented. The formula is not drying when applied initially but it gets drier with the passage of time. You definitely need to moisturize your lips before applying Faces Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon.
Peach Me is a beautiful pinkish peach shade which is slightly on the brighter side. This smells like candies.
My verdict on Faces Ultime Pro Matte Lip Crayon:
This is a kind of a shade which I’d pick up when I am happy. We tend to choose brighter shades when happy, right? This looks more peachy on my skin tone. It covers my pigmented lips fully in a single swipe. I wouldn’t recommend to go for more swipes as then it would start pilling towards the inner side of the lips. For some lipsticks less is more, that is the exact case with this lip crayon. It stays for 3-4 hours after which you need to reapply. I usually wear it with no makeup makeup look for office wear and it instantly brightens up my face. This shade will suit fair to medium skin tones beautifully. Also, this might settle in fine lines if the lips aren’t well moisturized or are chapped.
